Jobing Description

This is a temp-to-perm position with our customer. Our clients offer full-time work and great long term employment.

Responsibilities: Our client is a food service distributor focused on Italian and Italian-American food products. You will be delivering to Pizzerias, restaurants, food specialty shops, etc. Delivery will be ramp/dolly, and side door deliveries. It is all driver touch, so very physical.

Equipment: Tractor with sleeper for out of town runs. 32?, 36?, and 48? refer units.

Responsibilities: deliveries of food and beverage products to different locations, including completing paperwork for deliveries. Must be clean cut and personable as you will be dealing directly with the customer.

Routes: can be local or team runs to El Paso and Las Vegas. Team runs may require you to be out overnight. For team runs, typically 1 driver will drive out and lump half, other driver will lump other half and drive back. You will usually do 2-3 team runs and 1 local run per week. This will average 4-5 days a week with lots of hours.

Pay: Starts at $14.00-16.00/ hour DOE.
You will work for Momentum for 60-90 days depending upon your progress. After you are invited to join our client, your pay will switch to component pay. Drivers average between $22.00-24.00/hour. Out of town runs tend be on the higher end of the scale.

Skills / Requirements

Requirements:
Must pass a road test
1 year current class A Tractor/Trailer exp
6 months route delivery exp
Current medical card/Long Form
Current 39 month MVR required (no more than 1 moving violation)
Familiar with Phoenix or ability to read maps and or follow GPS
Must wear Steel Toe Boots
No Felony Charges within the last 10 years
Able to work flexible shift (days, nights weekends)
Ok with ramp and dolly delivery work
